17 Communities identified for provision of mini grid in Oyo state

As part of its commitment to rural development and economic inclusion, the Makinde administration made a specific, time-bound promise to expand electricity access. The government pledged to identify an additional 40 communities for the provision of electricity supply through the mini-grids system, at a rate of 10 communities per year. This initiative aims to bridge the energy gap, stimulate local economies, and improve the quality of life in underserved rural areas.
