We Will Attract At Least Ten Local And International Agribusinesses To Each Hub Once Completed.

The commitment to “attract at least ten local and international agribusinesses to each hub once completed” is a key performance indicator for the Oyo State Government’s agricultural agenda. On this promise, the focus must shift to the Fasola Agribusiness Industrial Hub, which is the first to be largely completed and operational. The government has achieved and exceeded its target here, publicly listing over ten major companies—including FrieslandCampina WAMCO, IITA GoSeed, and others—currently operating within the facility. This is verifiable proof that the model is working where the infrastructure exists.

However, the overall promise to attract ten businesses to each hub must be classified as ONGOING. The other designated hubs—Eruwa, Ilora, and the new Ijaiye SAPZ—are either still under development or have not yet commenced. While the government claims that businesses have signed up for the future hubs, the public is yet to receive the same level of transparency (i.e., named companies and details of their commitment) as seen with Fasola.
