Governor Seyi Makinde promised to fully revive and make operational the LAUTECH Teaching Hospital Annex in Oyo town within 12 months of taking office. For local residents, this would mean better access to specialized medical care, more jobs for healthcare workers, reduced travel to Ibadan for treatment, and a major boost to healthcare services in Oyo town.
