Governor Seyi Makinde promised to extend rehabilitation of the 45.3 km Saki-Ogbooro-Igboho Road to Kisi and Igbeti within three years of his second term (by May 2026). This would create seamless connectivity across Oke Ogun zone, enabling farmers to transport produce to markets faster, reducing accidents on damaged sections, and boosting commerce between Saki, Igboho, Igbeti, and Kisi.

The core 45.3 km Saki-Ogbooro-Igboho Road rehabilitation is ongoing (75% complete as of late 2025) with contract variations approved, but the promised extension to Kisi and Igbeti remains in planning stages with no construction commenced by early 2026.
